Accounts Payable Associate

We are a general construction company seeking a qualified accounts payable associate with past experience working for a construction company.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum education requirement of an Associates Degree;
Minimum of 5 years experience working in accounts payable;
Proficient with a computer and Microsoft programs;
Must demonstration excellent communication skills with the ability to speak with numerous vendors when necessary;
Must pass a pre-employment drug test; and
Experience with Timberline software a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities:
o Ensure that all processes and functions of the department are being run smoothly;
o Process purchase orders to ensure proper documentation;
o Manage all invoice processes including receiving of invoices from vendors and matching these to the purchase orders to confirm that items are properly invoiced;
o Perform monthly statement reconciliation from vendors and various credit accounts;
o Code and enter all invoices including job costs, telephone, water, power, repair and maintenance;
o Assist management with any questions related to purchasing, invoicing and payment of bills;
o Serve as the primary contact with vendors in relation to all payables; and
o Prioritize workload independently and meet deadlines.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
