Job Description
Job Summary:
Operations Coordinator is responsible for daily operations for supply and inventory control.
Performs audit and logistical duties for supply and inventory control.
Responsible for inventory storeroom levels and financial variance.
Execute product conversions within the enterprise resource planning system.
Supports distribution and daily supply operations to ensure no disruptions occur that will negatively impact patient care.
Monitors, stocks, and transports supplies and/or equipment consistent with prescribed policies and procedures. Performs inventory management, which may include daily monitoring of items changes, new product implementation and the like. May be necessary to perform basic analytics to root-cause and resolve supply issues. Uses electronic handheld to maintain accurate inventory counts and drive replenishment.
Effectively executes national standard consignment process and maintains vendor-consigned inventories. Solves problems in clinical care situations by applying detailed product knowledge which includes substitutions and alternatives sources or applications of existing products.
Maintains item attributes in ERP. Updates and maintains item labeling to maintain accuracy and meet specification. Manages vendor adherence to established practices; examples include regularly-scheduled inventory review, payment practices, or contract adherence. May maintain contract addendums.
Participates in System-wide Product Utilization/Value Analysis Teams in order to better manage product changes and promote standardization. Engages customers on a regular basis to ensure good service. Coordinates and leads adherence to cycle count plans. Identifies process improvements and drives implementation with supervisor approval. Ensures stock expiration is minimized with adherence to stock rotation guidelines and best practice. Work with appropriate parties to ensure optimum inventory levels, consistent with department financial goals, in order to minimize manual requisition entry.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required and one year of healthcare operations experience. previous experience working with any of the following: shipping, receiving, picking, logistics, distribution, purchasing, warehousing, inventory management, contracting, vendor management. Preferred: Additional training beyond High School (e.g. CSCP, LEAN, Six Sigma certification, bachelor's degree).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
