Job Description
Job Summary:
The Echo/Ultrasnd (Card) Technologist performs diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with acceptedprotocols as directed by physicians.
Sets up and adjusts all cardiac imaging equipment and manually maneuvers transducers to perform exams.
Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures.
Performs routine and complex studies and assists physician in a variety of imaging procedures.
Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology and equipment limitations.
Required Credential(s):
ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RCS registry eligible.
One or more of the following:
ADVLIFSUP certification can be accepted in lieu of BLS.
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Technical School
Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Ultrasound program required; or will consider 10 years recent experience in lieu of education, but will require certification within 2 years of hire

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
